Janet

Janet is a Senior Image Consultant with Colour Me Beautiful, Europe’s Leading Image Consultancy. She helps each of her clients, personal or corporate, to develop their image to achieve more success. She is well known for her passion, skill and practical knowledge of fabrics and garment construction which are evident in her work with clients. Her ability to see just what is required, coupled with thorough planning, ensures that clients find their time with Janet ‘beyond expectations.’

She has over thirty years experience in education and training for which she has gained national recognition and been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She has worked in both the private and public sector where she held management and leadership positions at a senior level.

She has a degree in science which led to her interest in dyeing and colour. Besides a postgraduate teaching qualification she has an M.Phil, carrying out research into self improvement. She followed this with much acclaimed research into identifying effective middle management/leadership and helped develop and implement guidance for this critical tier of an organisation. Janet has a wide range of textile expertise and is an active member of several textile and colour organisations; these added skills enable her to draw on her extensive knowledge of fabrics and garment construction in her advice to clients. She also has a Diploma in NLP and is a member of The Federation of Image Consultants, where she is a membership deputy.

Janet is an experienced author, writing articles on all aspects of image. Her dedicated studio is in Alsager, with many clients travelling quite a distance following ‘word of mouth’ recommendations. She carries out individual consultations, workshops and presentations. She has both chaired and spoken at national conferences.

Janet’s unique background means that she has experienced the importance of developing one’s image whatever the age or budget. She knows that wearing the right clothes is important but that having the right image is about more than that. Whether it is a one to one consultation or a large presentation Janet aims to provide a tailor made service that is beyond expectations.
